Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at The Nuthall Pub & Kitchen (NG8). As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pub, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives, including revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the pub's financial performance is on track.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate from £12.84, plus estimated hourly gratuities of £0.95ph.
  • A guaranteed 45-hour contract, with opportunities for overtime and super overtime.
  • A £250.00 per month bonus available for meeting performance targets.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Deputy General Manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
