Deputy Nursery Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to assist the Nursery Manager with the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist in managing the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Support the manager to lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's development and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
- Support the manager to drive initiatives for continuous improvement in nursery practices and policies.
- Monitor the wellbeing of all children in the nursery, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Support and assist in the management of administrative tasks related to the nursery's operations.
- A minimum Level 3 childcare qualification with at least 1 year of nursery experience is required.
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
- Knowledge of best practices in early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided in the nursery.
