Contracts Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our commercial roofing company, you will be responsible for managing contracts to ensure quality, safety, and programme objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organise and control direct employed and sub-contractor labour to meet project requirements.
  • Prepare and approve timesheets and sub-contractor labour invoices to ensure accurate payment.
  • Maintain health and safety standards on sites, adhering to method statements and risk assessments.
  • Access and update method statements and risk assessments as required.
  • Ensure Safe Start/Finishes, Hot Works Permits, and Gas Torch Permits are completed daily on all projects.
  • Coordinate plant, craneage, materials, labour, and sub-contractors to meet programme requirements.
  • Check quality, ensuring work conforms to specification and drawings.
  • Monitor project costs against estimated/predicted budget.
  • Manage materials on site, ordering and coordinating procurement with the office.
  • Coordinate deliveries with main contractors' on-site systems.
  • Attend meetings with main contractors as required.
  • Maintain quality assurance records and paperwork.
  • Attend company safety meetings and training.
  • Deliver weekly Toolbox Talks to labour and sub-contractors.
  • Manage customer complaints and feedback.

Requirements:

  • NVQ 6/Black CSCS Card
  • Roofing and Construction experience
  • SMSTS certification
