At Monarch Healthcare, we are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Ferndene Care Home in the residential area of Gainsborough.

Ferndene is a purpose-built home providing care and nursing support to older people and individuals living with dementia. As a Registered Nurse, you will be part of a supportive and committed team ensuring the highest standards of care at all times.

We have two positions available: one for full-time days, temporary due to maternity cover, and we also accept applications for bank shifts. Shift times are 07:45-20:00, and we work on a rota basis including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive rate of pay, depending on qualifications and experience. Your responsibilities as a Registered Nurse will include:

  • Formulating person-centred care plans in consultation with clients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
  • Administering prescribed medications and documenting the same according to company procedure and NMC guidelines.
  • Monitoring resident well-being and reporting any ill health to ensure prompt medical attention.
  • Supervising the care team when acting as nurse in charge and conducting clear handover reports.
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

To be eligible for this role, you must be registered with the NMC and hold a current PIN. All applicants are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.
