Job Overview

Drive Operational Excellence

Morgan Ryder is seeking a seasoned Operations Director to lead our manufacturing facility towards World Class Manufacturing standards. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a high-performance culture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve World Class Manufacturing standards, focusing on continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence.
  • Lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring the highest levels of productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Spearhead cultural transformation initiatives to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and HR teams to align operational goals with the overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs, ensuring strong performance across key metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior operations role within automotive, aerospace, or similar manufacturing or a related high-volume, complex manufacturing environment.
  • A track record of leading operational and cultural transformation projects, with measurable success in moving a facility closer to World Class Manufacturing standards.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and develop high-performing teams.
