Job Title: Advertising Sales Director

Job Summary:

Morgan Rutherford Associates Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advertising Sales Director to lead revenue growth for one of their flagship titles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in advertising sales, publishing, or media sales, and will be eager for a challenging role with greater responsibility and recognition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seek out and cultivate new business opportunities to expand market share and drive revenue for the magazine and its website.
  • Build and manage new and existing client relationships, both in-person and virtually, to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales potential.
  • Exceed sales targets and KPIs to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Stay abreast of market trends to uncover emerging opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Champion the magazine through creative, high-impact promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal creative and editorial teams to manage timelines and budgets, and ensure timely delivery of advertisement copy.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in advertising sales, publishing, or media sales.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with market trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
