About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety and Sustainability Lead to join our team at Whitman Laboratories, a leading manufacturer of prestige beauty products. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership, expertise, and support in facility EHS matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EHS Strategies: Develop and implement site EHS strategies in line with global policies, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage EHS Risks: Identify, assess, and mitigate EHS risks, ensuring a safe working environment for employees and minimizing the impact on the environment.
  • Lead EHS Teams: Lead and facilitate EHS teams, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability, and providing guidance and support to employees.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, guidelines, and company policies, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Manage EHS Budgets: Manage EHS budgets and CAPEX, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support EHS initiatives.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with employees, management, and regulatory agencies, ensuring clear understanding of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Problem-Solve: Identify and solve EHS-related problems, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified to IOSH / NEBOSH level 6 diploma or similar qualification, with CMIOSH or working towards with Initial Professional Development (IPD).
  • Experience: Experienced in EHS regulations, guidelines, and company policies, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
