Environmental Health and Safety Lead

The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Lead to join our team at Whitman Laboratories. As a key member of our EHS team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in facility EHS matters, developing and implementing site EHS strategies, and ensuring compliance with EHS policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement site EHS strategies in line with global policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to minimize EHS risks.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Lead and facilitate EHS training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continual improvement in EHS performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement EHS improvements.
  • Provide EHS support and guidance to employees, management, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to IOSH/NEBOSH level 6 diploma or similar qualification.
  • CMIOSH or working towards with Initial Professional Development (IPD).
  • Experience of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Deep understanding of EHS regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
