Environmental Health and Safety Lead

The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Lead to join our team at Whitman Laboratories. As a key member of our EHS team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in facility EHS matters, developing and implementing site EHS strategies, and ensuring compliance with EHS policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement site EHS strategies in line with global policies and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to minimize EHS risks.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Lead and facilitate independent safety culture, promoting EHS policies and procedures.
  • Develop and track KPIs to drive continual improvement in EHS performance.
  • Maintain site EHS management system and ensure effective management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste collections.
  • Act as a point of contact for regulatory authorities and provide EHS support as required.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to IOSH/NEBOSH level 6 diploma or similar qualification.
  • CMIOSH or working towards with Initial Professional Development (IPD).
  • Experience of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Deep understanding of EHS regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
