We are seeking a skilled Shop Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Greggs. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our shop equipment and facilities.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time position, with flexibility considered.
  • We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 21 days annual leave, colleague discount, and profit share.
  • You will be responsible for carrying out preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance work on equipment in our shops.
  • Ensuring all on-site mechanical and electrical equipment is working effectively and efficiently.
  • Carrying out regular maintenance work, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, electrical repairs, and modifications.
  • Minimizing machine downtime while repairs are carried out for a group of approximately 80 shops.

About You

You will be a skilled electrician with significant experience in installations, electrical repair, fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvements.

Requirements

  • 17th Edition Electrician Qualification (ideally)
  • Significant experience in electrical repair, fault finding, and preventative maintenance
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of Food Safety & SHE
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • IT skills including Microsoft 365
