Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Permanent Futures. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily plant inspections to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement
- Facilitate a swift response to machine stoppages and implement modifications to optimize equipment performance
- Carry out fault-finding diagnosis and repairs on equipment
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant equipment
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure Predictive Maintenance schedules are maintained in accordance with business requirements
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement new methods and procedures to enhance production efficiency
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all work carried out
Requirements:
- Previous experience in FMCG manufacturing, food manufacturing, or a similar manufacturing environment
- Time-served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering HND/HNC/NVQ/ONC/Level 3 qualification or higher
- 18th Edition certification (desirable)
