We are seeking a skilled Shop Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Greggs. As a Shop Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our shop equipment and facilities.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time role, with flexibility considered.
  • You will be responsible for carrying out preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance work on equipment in our shops.
  • Ensuring all on-site mechanical and electrical equipment is working effectively and efficiently.
  • Carrying out regular maintenance work, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, electrical repairs, and modifications.
  • Minimising machine downtime while repairs are carried out for a group of approximately 80 shops.

About You

  • You will have a 17th Edition Electrician Qualification (ideally).
  • Significant experience in installations, electrical repair, fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvements.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and carry out a varied workload in all trades.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety & SHE.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • IT skills including Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
