Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled Adult Support Specialist to join its team. This part-time (22 hours) role offers an opportunity to provide intensive support to adults with complex or fluctuating needs.

  • The ideal candidate will work with adults using a strength-based approach to reduce and manage risks, engaging other professionals for a multi-agency approach.
  • By applying social work theory in partnership with adults and their carers, the successful candidate will enable them to live independently.
  • This role requires identifying and supporting adults at risk of abuse or neglect using Making Safeguarding Personal and completing section 42 enquiries.
  • The Adult Support Specialist will engage with adults and carers using a strengths-based approach to identify available resources.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes and professional development requirements is crucial for this position.
  • The selected candidate will participate in training activities and support staff in their development and training.
  • Pursuing personal and professional development to meet changing job demands is essential for success in this role.
  • Undertaking health and safety duties commensurate with the job is also required.
  • The role may involve performing other duties and training as required.

A salary of £**35,000 - £40,000 per annum**, depending on experience, is offered for this position. Requirements include a social Work Qualification or equivalent and a commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
