We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Support Worker to provide support for two children with additional needs. The ideal candidate must have:

  1. Autism awareness and understanding of complex needs and neurotypical children.
  2. Understanding of challenging behaviour (training can be offered).

This position involves working on Saturdays and Sundays, with extra hours available during school holidays. Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting family days out as needed.
  2. Taking the children out for leisure activities.

The salary for this role is £14.30 per hour. Business insurance is required. Mileage will be reimbursed at £0.45 per mile for trips from the home. A DBS check will be carried out before commencing work.

Saturday and Weekend Work

This role requires you to work on Saturdays and Sundays, providing support and care for our clients. You will also have extra hours available during school holidays.

About the Role

This is a part-time role, requiring you to work approximately 20-25 hours per week. You will need to have a good understanding of autism and how it affects individuals. Experience working with children with additional needs would be beneficial.
