About the Role
Craven Home Care is a family-run organization based in North Yorkshire, providing support to clients in their own homes.
Salary: £11.00 per hour (equivalent to approximately £22,784 per annum, assuming 40 hours worked per week)
We are seeking a full-time/part-time Care Assistant to join our team, supporting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, medication management, meal preparation, domestic support, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with varying needs and requirements, promoting independence and dignity.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Manage client medication, ensuring accurate administration and recording.
- Prepare meals and snacks, considering dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide domestic support, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Engage clients in community activities, promoting social interaction and stimulation.
Requirements:
- You will have a caring attitude and strong communication skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential, as you will be required to travel between client locations.
- You will need to work every other weekend and some evenings, although flexibility is appreciated.
- No previous experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training and support to achieve the Care Certificate and Diploma in Health and Social Care.
