Technical Support Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Red Bud Regional Hospital. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and families, while also resolving technical issues and improving our overall support processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide technical support for our hospital's IT systems and applications.
- Collaborate with our IT team to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.
- Work closely with our clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of technical support with patient care.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and other hospital IT systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hospital IT systems and applications.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
- Experience with technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with clinical teams.
