Location: Manchester

The Technical Support Engineer role is essential for ensuring top-notch system and product support to customers. As a member of the Technical Support team, you'll address initial support requests via calls, emails, and chats, while also managing escalated issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Staying updated with new hardware and product releases
  • Supporting key customers and monitored sites
  • Contributing to technical support literature.
  • Assisting in identifying training needs for customers
  • Managing unresolved tickets, and conducting site visits to resolve technical issues.
  • Collaboration with the field sales team during system specification stages and delivering high-quality customer service are also key aspects of the role.

Additional duties involve shadowing Technical Support Specialists, helping to upskill the team, and maintaining thorough records, including ticketing and reports. You will provide remote and on-site support, troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose faults, and test new technologies. Compliance with health and safety regulations, adherence to company policies, and a commitment to equality, diversity, and company values are mandatory.

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Maths
  • BTEC Level 4, NVQ, or equivalent experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
