About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Medicine Expert to join our team at Active Care Group Recruitment. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have expertise in rehabilitation medicine and will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. You will work closely with our medical team to develop and implement evidence-based rehabilitation programs that meet the unique needs of each patient.

This is a full-time position, and you will be required to work 37.5 hours per week. You will also have access to ongoing personal development through CPD and annual appraisal.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the multidisciplinary team that undertakes assessments for admissions to the service within our partner acute hospital.
  • Providing outstanding, outcome-based rehabilitation care.
  • Leading the multidisciplinary team in the care and treatment of our patients, including weekly ward round reviews.
  • Attending family meetings, case review meetings, and discharge planning meetings as required.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to service development through research, innovation, and local audit, and to engage in national networks.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A CCT in Rehabilitation Medicine or equivalent qualification.
  • Full registration with the GMC with a license to practice.
  • MRCP (required).

You should also have experience working within an inpatient rehabilitation setting treating those with neurological or brain injury, and confidence in engaging internal and external stakeholders.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £115,000 - £140,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive medical indemnity paid by Active Care Group, annual leave of 32 days plus bank holidays, and birthday off.

In addition, you will have access to a wide range of e-learning and face-to-face training and development opportunities, and a generous pension scheme.

Estimated Salary: £135,000 per annum.
