Galliford Try is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Environment Business team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial administration, reporting, and performance on large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities- Produce and negotiate subcontract documentation, including terms and conditions, prices, and program.
- Manage subcontract works packages, including interim assessments and change management.
- Produce and issue commercial notices to clients and subcontractors.
- Liaise with operational and engineering staff to ensure site records are kept to the required standard.
- Participate in weekly progress and risk reduction meetings, producing and submitting monthly applications and reports.
- Relevant degree and/or experience in a commercial environment.
- Experience working on large-scale projects with solid knowledge of construction processes.
- Professional qualification such as MCIOB or MRICS is desirable.
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and Contractual and Cost Management Systems.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work at all levels.
