About the Role

As a Home Manager at HC-One, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall management and operation of our care home. Your responsibilities will include overseeing staff management, occupancy, marketing, and recruitment to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents.

You will foster a caring environment that promotes residents' independence, dignity, and well-being. Your daily duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to maintain and increase the reputation of the care home.
  • Ensuring occupancy levels meet commercial business targets and promoting the home to potential residents.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the local community through engagement and outreach initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
  • Overseeing key areas within the home, including front-of-house, catering, and housekeeping.
  • Completing staff supervisions and appraisals to deliver exceptional person-centred care.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
  • Experience in staff recruitment, selection, and retention.
  • Commitment to staff training and development.
  • Understanding of the Care Standards Act and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • A caring and compassionate approach to care delivery.
