About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient individual to join our Imaging Directorate, County Hospital Reception Team as an Imaging Receptionist/Helpdesk. This is a demanding role comprising a wide range of administration duties and telephone Helpdesk support.

Main Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients into the Imaging Department and attend them on the Imaging computerised system.
  • Complete administration duties including using a PC to process all the referrals coming in to the department, processing DNAs, actioning emails, answering the telephone, Batch Printing and booking patients into the correct department.
  • Liaise with all clinical Team Leaders and staff in the Imaging Department.

Person Specification

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good standard of Education - English and Maths
  • Reception Experience
  • Knowledge of Data Protection & Confidentiality
  • Good Communication Skills

  • NHS Experience
  • Advance computer skills qualification
  • Ability to deal with customers and handle enquiries
  • Knowledge of CRIS
  • Experience of handling complaints
  • Data inputting
