  • Job Purpose:
    • The Wastewater Sales Manager will drive sales growth in the sewage/wastewater treatment sector across the UK.
    • This role involves managing customer relationships, developing strategies to win new business, and ensuring WCS Group's high-quality services and products.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the sewage/wastewater treatment market in the UK.
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including water companies, contractors, and consultants.
    • Generate new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
    • Negotiate contracts and terms of sale with customers.
    • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and services.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the sewage/wastewater treatment market.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecasts within the CRM system.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns specific to the sewage/wastewater treatment sector.
  • Requirements:
    • UK Driving License - Essential
    • Knowledge of the Commercial market segment
    • Knowledge of the Utility market segment.
    • Technical qualifications within the construction and (preferably) waste water industries
    • Education preferably with a recognised quality qualification
    • I.T literate
    • Negotiating skills
    • Present to a variety of audiences in a professional manner.
    • Technical Sales
    • Track Record of Sales Achievement.
    • New Business Development
    • Experience of preparing tenders, proposals and quotations within the Water industry
    • Sales and Sales Management experience
