Job Title: HR Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our successful and proactive HR team at ROSE & YOUNG RECRUITMENT LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the development and promotion of the HSE culture, ensuring compliance with health and safety and environmental regulations, and implementing preventative actions to reduce environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct Assessment Centres and HR Inductions.
  2. Manage the Corporate Induction Process and assist Managers during the interview process.
  3. Issue offer letters and associated new starter documentation, and check new starter documentation on return to ensure Right to Work compliance.
  4. Manage end-to-end casework in line with Company Policy and Legislation, and provide advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  5. Attend meetings to offer HR Support and take notes, and type up minutes and construct outcome letters.
  6. Manage the Employee Relations Tracker/systems, and work with the HR Manager on redundancy or TUPE arrangements.
  7. Attend home visits with Supervisors/Managers, and arrange Occupational Health Assessments and follow-up reviews.
  8. Manage the Sickness Absence Tracker/systems, and advise on absence issues, including phased returns.
  9. Coordinate the appraisal process to create the annual training plan, and advise on additional training requirements.
  10. Maintain HR Information Systems and train users, and ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
  11. Produce reports as required, and analyze HR data and provide feedback.
  12. Construct monthly Corporate HR Reports, and assist with the preparation of monthly PowerPoint Slides.
  13. Coordinate processes between HR and Reception, and provide day-to-day HR advice to the business.
Requirements:
  1. CIPD Level 5.
  2. Extensive HR Advisor/Officer experience.
  3. Experience handling disciplinary issues & advising Management.
  4. Good systems skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Strong attention to detail.
  7. Professionalism and confidentiality.
  8. Preference given to candidates from a Manufacturing background.
