Job Summary:

The Clinical Negligence department at CV-Library is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their team. As a key member of the department, you will work alongside a Senior Associate to undertake a mix of high-quality clinical negligence work, as well as support in the development and growth of the department through marketing and networking activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clinical negligence files, under supervision, dealing effectively with cases and transactions.
  • Manage time recording, WIP monitoring, and billing consistently, meeting targets and objectives set.
  • Develop a network of clients, contacts, and potential referrers and attend networking events.
  • Encourage juniors/trainees, provide feedback to assist their learning, effectively delegating tasks where appropriate.
  • Understand, learn, and apply all business processes applicable to own work, learning new processes as required.
  • Perform fee-earning work accurately, reliably, and in accordance with the firm's quality and risk management procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Highly experienced within claimant Clinical Negligence law.
  • Ability to manage own files with minimal supervision.
  • Open to change, receptive to new ways of working, with the ability to be flexible in approaching tasks and problems.
