Job Summary

The Clinical Negligence department at CV-Library provides expert advice and support to clients navigating medical negligence claims. As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will work closely with a Senior Associate to handle a diverse caseload of high-quality clinical negligence work, while also contributing to the growth and development of the department through marketing and networking activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of clinical negligence files, under supervision, ensuring effective case handling and transaction management.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate time recording, WIP tracking, and billing, meeting set targets and objectives.
  • Develop a network of clients, contacts, and potential referrers, and participate in networking events to promote the department's services.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to junior colleagues, delegating tasks as necessary to support their learning and development.
  • Understand and apply all relevant business processes, learning new procedures as required to ensure high-quality fee-earning work.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with extensive experience in claimant Clinical Negligence law.
  • Ability to manage files with minimal supervision and adapt to new ways of working.
  • Receptive to change and flexible in approaching tasks and problems.
