Childcare Support Worker

We are part of the Polaris Community, one of the largest providers of children's services in the UK.

Main Responsibilities- Promote and protect the welfare of young people
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people
- Encourage individual interests and development
You will undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota and participate in activities to ensure young people feel at home.
Responsibilities include working on your own initiative, possessing good interpersonal skills, and being a positive team player.

This is a casual opportunity covering shifts within the business as and when needed.
Key Requirements- Demonstrated desire to learn; we provide full training for an Apprenticeship Level 4 diploma
- Experience supporting vulnerable young people (desired but not essential)
- Understanding and commitment to the role, including some weekends and bank holidays
Salary: £12.20 per hour (plus £45 per sleep-in). Location: Barnsley.
