Job Summary:

Guidant Global is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our client's RF group within the Seeker and Data Link Systems Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling a range of RF tasks, including RCS prediction and measurement, antenna design, RF testing, radar systems, and radio altimeters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RF systems and components for defence applications
  • Conduct RF testing and measurement, including RCS prediction and antenna design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver defence technology projects
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports and presentations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest RF technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in electronic design, development, and delivery, preferably in defence or related industry
  • Knowledge of RF circuits and components across a wide range of frequencies
  • Practical skills in soldering, fault finding, and RF component level assembly
  • Experience with RF laboratory test equipment, including spectrum analysers, VNAs, and power meters
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as KiCAD or ORCAD
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
