Job Title: Principal Hardware Engineer

Position Overview:

As a Principal Hardware Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining, developing, and validating advanced hardware platforms that enable our clients to launch groundbreaking and often transformative technologies into the marketplace.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring that effective electronics design and development methodologies are adhered to, guaranteeing the delivery of high-quality design outputs from the engineering team. You will engage directly with clients to gather their requirements and specifications, subsequently leading a diverse project team to create and refine solutions that align with our clients' objectives.

Success in this position requires exceptional communication abilities and a proactive approach to engaging in development tasks.

The dynamic nature of our projects encourages continuous learning and skill enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and layout of digital and analog PCB circuits (using Altium).

2. High-speed digital PCB design and layout, incorporating FPGAs, SoCs, ADCs, and DACs.

3. Development of power supply systems.

4. System and circuit modeling utilizing tools such as SPICE and Python.

5. Leadership and guidance of cross-functional engineering teams.

6. Design and testing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and environmental standards.

7. Experience in high-volume manufacturing processes.

8. System modeling and automation using SPICE, Matlab, and Python.

9. Compliance testing design and validation.

10. Project management, including planning and reporting.

11. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, applying new insights to improve product development methodologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

2. Extensive experience (10+ years) in electronics engineering.

3. Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

4. Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.

5. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting, including participation in reviews, planning sessions, and retrospectives.

6. Willingness to learn, adapt, and embrace new challenges.

Preferred Skills:

1. Mechanical design experience with 3D CAD tools.

2. Software and firmware development skills for testing or interfacing with electronics (e.g., Python, C/C++, VHDL, Linux).

3. Experience in RF design.
