About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at St James Tavern. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality, maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety, and driving sales growth through effective team leadership and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a high-performing kitchen team, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to ensure excellent food quality and customer service.
  • Develop and implement kitchen operations strategies to drive sales growth, improve efficiency, and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to optimize profitability and minimize waste.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate records to ensure delivery of GP margins in line with targets.
  • Develop and implement training programs to upskill and reskill kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional food quality and customer service.
