Marketing Communications Specialist

Twin Group is an award-winning provider of education, travel, work experience, accommodation, and employment services.

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to drive our marketing activities and develop the marketing team.

The focus will be on marketing communications across a range of media, supporting sales and business development by aligning with defined business objectives and actively driving both quality and quantity of marcoms. This demands a deep understanding of all core online communications disciplines and media, from website development and performance improvement to social media channels. Strong insight into content needs of different media is essential.

In the medium term, the opportunity exists to move beyond a supporting role to a driving one, harnessing analysis, customer insight and group capacity/capability to propose new or extended customer propositions to market.

  • Manage and develop Twin Group's Marketing team
  • Work with key managers to identify and agree on key business priorities and timings to generate forward plans
  • Establish a strong relationship with Twin IT to create/agree/contribute to key business improvement projects and maintain awareness of relevant technologies and data sources
  • Support International Sales and UK Sales/Business Development in creating/executing campaigns across all media
  • Establish an agreed forward calendar for Marketing programmes
  • Actively improve effectiveness/efficiency of Twin's online presences using analytical tools/evidence-based content enhancement/ex external expertise
  • Ensure high levels of activity/quality in all relevant social media, establishing links with market-facing managers to secure active inputs on Twin activities/events/achievements and using statistical evidence to progressively develop followership and audience interaction
  • Generate PR for all parts of the Group
  • Undertake marketing research activities and liaise with senior managers/field-facing staff to develop/marketing understanding of key markets/winning propositions
  • Identify/agree on key projects, ensuring marketing leadership/participation as needed.
  • Agree/implement Marketing reports with key stakeholders, ELT and the Board.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to manage projects to time/budget.
  • Evidence of working with newer technologies.
  • Strong awareness of Marketing/Sales support.
  • Proven track record in B2B/B2C.
  • Working knowledge of the International Student Travel Market (desirable).
  • Working knowledge of government-funded skills/employability programmes (desirable).
What We Offer:

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: Hybrid working between Greenwich and home

Contract: Permanent – Full-time

Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30
