Job Description

Gap Construction is seeking a skilled Painter to work on various projects in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and decorating, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and removing old paint.
  • Filling holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers.
  • Mix and match paint, stain, and other finishes to job specifications.
  • Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, and other finishes using brushes and rollers.
  • Ensure high-quality finishes on both interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Clean up and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Must have own tools and full PPE.
  • Proven experience as a painter.
  • Knowledge of painting techniques and tools.
