Project Coordinator for the Cambridge Room

The Department of Architecture at the University of Cambridge is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of the Cambridge Room, a research project focused on inclusive community consultation in planning in the Cambridgeshire area.

As a key member of the project team, you will work closely with the Principal Investigator and two research associates to ensure the smooth running and success of the project. Your responsibilities will include facilities management, risk assessments, managing project documentation, preparing financial reports, and coordinating events and logistics.

You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures, as well as liaising with stakeholders, including members of the public, students, and colleagues across institutions in Cambridgeshire.

This is a part-time, fixed-term role with initial funding for 12 months, funded by a grant held in the University of Cambridge. If you are a proactive and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Cambridge Room space and coordinate the efficient running of the project
  • Co-ordinate events, interns, and student volunteers
  • Support the Principal Investigator in ensuring the smooth running and success of the project
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including members of the public, students, and colleagues across institutions in Cambridgeshire

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
