Job Summary: The Retail Marketing Assistant will play a vital role in supporting various aspects of the retail marketing department and its activities, including general administration and assisting with departmental and individual tenant marketing campaigns and promotions.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with the administration of all departmental databases and schedules to ensure that digital screens, posters, product plinth displays, window display case schedules, and digital channels, including the website and App, are kept up to date.

* Provide support in collaboration with the Retail Marketing Manager to retail tenants, encouraging them to utilise the various local marketing initiatives available to them with the objective of raising brand awareness, footfall, and spend for individual stores.

* Liaise with retail tenants at both local and Head Office level and book their local marketing campaigns accordingly.

* Maintain effective communication and provide support to other Canary Wharf Group departments, including Communications, Arts+Events, Retail Management, Retail Leasing, Accounts, and others.

* Ensure that shopping mall poster sites, product display plinths, and window displays are in immaculate condition.

* Ensure that digital channels are maintained and are up-to-date with current event and retail information.

* Deal with incoming telephone and e-mail enquiries from tenants, the public, charities, experiential marketing agencies, and suppliers.

* Manage the department's accounts administration, raise purchase orders, and maintain accurate budgets.

* Maintain an efficient digital filing and reporting system.

* Actively keep up to date, researching and reporting on new trends and industry best practice.

Requirements:

* A minimum of 12 months' experience in an administrative role.

* A keen interest in retail marketing.

* Proven experience of working within a business or office environment and within the retail, events, and/or entertainment sector.

* Excellent organisational skills are required.

* Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.

* Proven ability of effectively managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and to work with limited supervision.

* Excellent attention to detail, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication.

* Experience and sound knowledge of Microsoft based computer packages.

* A proven team player with a flexible, enthusiastic, and can-do attitude, who shows initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
