About Our Client

A forward-thinking organization, dedicated to empowering young people in the community, is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of financial processes and accurate financial record-keeping. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and distributing sales invoices on a monthly basis
  • Generating and distributing customer statements
  • Chasing debts and reconciling accounts
  • Dealing with queries and issuing credits for errors
  • Maintaining and reconciling sales invoicing with the Placement Table
  • Working with the Placement Team to ensure accurate invoices and assisting with IPAs sent by Local Authorities
  • Daily monitoring and reconciliation of bank statements and allocation of customer receipts and other financial accounts

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a finance team
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles
  • Experience with accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Xero
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • A communication-first mindset

What We Offer

In return for your skills and experience, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £27,000 per annum, plus benefits.
