Key Responsibilities:- Manage the operational finance team, overseeing month-end and year-end processes.
- Oversee billing for the group, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.
- Oversee bookkeeping, posting of transactions, and bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support the production of monthly management accounts, key KPIs, and reporting for directors.
- Prepare monthly board packs and complete full balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage all audit deliverables through to sign-off.
- Ensure financial systems are fit for purpose and integrate acquisitions as necessary.
- Assist in developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
- Oversee the negotiation, preparation, and management of commercial contracts with clients.
- Analyse financial and operational performance to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost reduction.
- Oversee the accurate and timely generation of customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and billing cycles.
- Monitor and review client credit accounts, ensuring they remain within agreed limits and conditions.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, identifying overdue accounts and prioritising collections efforts.
- Demonstrable experience of dealing with large volumes of data.
- Experience managing audits and producing statutory financial statements.
- Advanced Excel skills and accounts system administration.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines whilst maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Provide evidence of managing risk and implementation of process improvements.
