We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager to join our team at Gleeds, a leading global property and construction consultancy. As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in providing contract management and administration of large professional service and construction contracts, as well as supporting the development and operation of electronic contract management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of contracts from inception to completion, including pre-contract support and post-contract support.
  • Operating with NEC 3 form of Contract Options A, C, and E.
  • Issuing and reviewing early warning notices, priced and assessed compensation events, and monthly commercial reporting.
  • Management of contractors and subcontractors accounts, updating risk registers, and reviewing programs.
  • Issuing payment certificates and valuation assessments of the works.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management, with a strong understanding of the Nuclear/Civil engineering/Engineering sectors.
  • Broad technical knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain, Cost, and Commercial Management, including standard forms of contract and Public Contract Regulations 2015.
  • Ideal qualifications include HNC, HND, or Degree in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management, Construction Law, or a similar relevant discipline.
  • Highly developed commercial skills and the ability to make sound decisions on matters of significant financial value.
