About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a global subscription acquisition and retention strategy. This will involve leading marketing efforts to deploy ROI-driven paid acquisition and retention tactics, as well as analyzing audience data to define customer cohorts and inform marketing strategy and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global subscription acquisition and retention strategy
  • Lead marketing efforts to deploy ROI-driven paid acquisition and retention tactics
  • Analyze audience data to define customer cohorts and inform marketing strategy and product development
  • Articulate the value of our offerings to current and future audiences
  • Deploy the right tools to engage and convert the Reuters audience
  • Develop real-time reports that provide a clear overview of how we are tracking against KPIs
  • Build and manage a high-performing team that will serve as the subscriptions center of excellence across the organization

Key Deliverables:

  • Develop an audience proposition with insight to guide product development
  • Develop and execute a subscriptions go-to-market strategy
  • Subscriptions revenue and ARPU targets and strategic plan to achieve them
  • Customer churn and retention targets and strategic plan to achieve them
  • Customer CAC and LTV targets and strategic plan to achieve them
  • Continuous testing plan for offers and conversion funnel with A/B parallel approach

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of leadership experience working in the online media sector, ideally with a strong record of accomplishments in the news sector. You will also have a proven ability to think strategically about business opportunities and future customer needs in the media industry.
