About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the company's fleet of vehicles and drivers. This will involve managing the existing transport team, route planning, and ensuring drivers have the necessary paperwork to complete their duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the existing transport team in relation to disciplinaries, performance reviews, and staff development
  • Route plan for multiple vehicles and ensure Drivers have correct paperwork to complete their duties
  • Supervise and manage the drivers' workloads in compliance to all aspects of UK law
  • Investigate root causes of service failures

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Transport Planner
  • Good problem-solving and people management skills
  • A valid CPC would be beneficial
