Job Title: Care Coordinator

We are currently working on behalf of a specialist care organisation who are looking for a Support Worker to make a difference in their service in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The service prides itself on providing the highest level of care to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate must be flexible for a mixture of shifts including days, nights and sleep ins. In return you will be offered an opportunity to represent a leading organisation who will pay for and enrol you into a NVQ Level 3. Responsibilities:

You will have the ability to relate to people with a variety of backgrounds, provide a friendly, caring approach, a genuine desire to help others, patience and a sense of humour. You will work on your own or in a team and be responsible for daily living skills including cooking, cleaning, personal care, travel escorts, teaching of independent life skills, assistance with accessing community-based activities such as going to college, swimming, work placements and other social and leisure activities. Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum.

Requirements:

A professional, reliable, and flexible attitude is essential. A natural person-centred approach with a desire to enable those who you support to achieve greater independence whilst obtaining career progression is also required. Experience within this client group would be desirable. Estimated salary based on location and industry standards.
