Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Healthcare Administrator to support our team in delivering the Community Liver Health Checks pilot and Hepatocellular Carcinoma surveillance programme.

This role involves patient registration, booking clinical appointments, producing clinic letters, and responding to patient inquiries. As a key member of the delivery team, you will work closely with Consultants, Project Managers, and Clinical Nurse Specialists to organize diaries, transcribe formal meetings, and produce action plans.

To be successful in this position, you must have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to use your initiative and work accurately under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, is also essential.

Main Responsibilities
  • Patient registration and appointment management
  • Producing clinic letters and correspondence
  • Responding to patient inquiries and concerns
  • Diary management and organization
  • Transcription of formal meetings and production of action plans

You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through training and development programs offered by our trust.

Requirements
  • Good general education (GCSE English and Maths A-C)
  • Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment
  • Experience of dealing with the public/customer service
  • Administrative/Secretarial experience with a proven track record of problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to use own initiative and deal with the unpredictable
  • Able to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Able to work to deadlines

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working hours, training and development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
