The Role

The Senior Trading Manager is accountable for driving growth, improving customer profitability, and optimising trading performance across marketing, sales, loyalty-retentions, and digital channels. You will lead on developing actionable insights and strategies to deliver the quarterly trading plan and inform the longer-term commercial outlook and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimise quarterly trading performance by leading the Consumer weekly trading cadence, driving action plans, and holding delivery organisations accountable.
  • Deliver actionable insights on trading plan variances versus targets, identifying key drivers and areas for improvement.
  • Balance short-term trading demands with longer-term monthly and annual trading improvement initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and alignment.
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture, fostering a customer-centric approach and commercial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with sales, loyalty-retention, and commercial teams to develop trading offers and propositions for new acquisition and base management.
  • Lead the review and development of data and insights used to manage performance, defining new reports and forecasting methods in collaboration with data teams.
