Job Title: Care Home Manager

Christ The King Residential Care Homes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Manager to join our team. As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our 16-bed care home in South Croydon CR2, supporting individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.
  • Liaise with our Regional Care Manager to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and CQC standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure the emotional, spiritual, physical, medical, and material needs of service users are recognized, assessed, and met.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for service users.
  • Manage the care home's budget, ensuring effective financial management and resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Care Home Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, service users, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and CQC standards, with the ability to ensure compliance.
