We are currently working with a Local Authority to find a skilled Fire Alarm Specialist who can provide day-to-day planned and reactive maintenance of fire alarm systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in install and reactive repairs of fire alarm systems, including maintenance, testing, and inspection of fire alarm panels, detectors, and other related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day planned and reactive maintenance of fire alarm systems
- Respond to emergency callouts and carry out remedial works as required
- Carry out asset verification and install replacement/additional equipment
- Take part in the on-call rota and conduct site surveys as required
- Train apprentices in fire alarm system installation and maintenance
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in fire alarm maintenance and repair
- Valid certification in fire alarm system installation and maintenance
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to lift up to 25 kg and work in a fast-paced environment
Salary Estimate: £42,000 - £50,000 per annum.
