We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Day Care Assistant to join our residential team at Leah Lodge in Blackheath. About the Role:

  • As a Senior Day Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, choice, and individuality.
  • You will work closely with our care team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • We offer competitive hourly pay, £14.38 per hour, paid breaks, uniform, and paid DBS along with additional company benefits.
  • Our comprehensive induction program ensures that you receive the support and training necessary to excel in this role.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with older adults and people with dementia.
  • An NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) and sound knowledge of care legislation, including CQC Fundamental Standards.
  • Medication administration experience and relevant qualification.
  • Supervisory experience and ability to mentor junior staff members.
