Legal Support Assistant - UK - Up to £32,000
This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm with a formidable reputation in the market offering ongoing training and development and progression opportunities.
The Role
- Full support to fee earners, as required, including preparing correspondence and documents
- Managing filing and maintaining accurate records
- Opening and maintaining files on the case management system
- Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch
- Proactively dealing with conflicting diary appointments and an ever-changing diary
- Acting in a professional manner and ensuring a timely response to all communication from both internal and external stakeholders
- Attending to clients, primarily on the telephone, and providing such support in a professional and friendly manner
- Producing and amending legal documentation using digital dictation
- Typing extensive reports to private healthcare; trusts and clinics, clinicians and indemnifiers, and general admin duties
- Collating billing information and producing invoices
- Monitoring fee earners' e-mails and drafting responses
- Constantly maintaining a high level of confidentiality

- Ability to work well as part of a team and on own initiative
- Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Professional and effective communication with team members and contacts
