Development Management Team Leader Opportunity

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be supporting a Local Authority in Derbyshire on the hire of a Development Management Team Leader. This is a full-time and permanent position with a competitive salary of £47,491 - £50,893 per annum.

About the Role

The main purpose of this role is to provide professional planning leadership and day-to-day operational management to staff within the Development Management Section. The successful candidate will have a relevant Town Planning qualification or a related discipline and substantial Development Management experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional planning leadership and day-to-day operational management to staff within the Development Management Section
  • Maintain an operational case load of predominantly major planning case work
  • Staff management experience and a driving licence are essential
