Job Description

We are seeking a talented Technology Analyst to join our team. As a Technology Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and applying complex analytical methods to massive data sets in order to manage risk and search for alpha for clients.

You will also be creating and improving internal applications used by the firm to execute investment strategies, manage risk and support our clients. Additionally, you will be building tools and platforms to help portfolio managers leverage, analyze and test data while harnessing and applying advances in big data analytics.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, making it ideal for those who can bridge the gap between IT and business operations at PIMCO.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply complex analytical methods to massive data sets
  • Create and improve internal applications
  • Build tools and platforms to help portfolio managers
  • Streamline trade floor processes and identify new technologies to improve business value
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a similar major
  • Expected graduation date of December 2025 – June 2026
  • Minimum or on track to attain a 2:1
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
