XVA Analyst Job Description

X4 Technology is seeking an experienced XVA Analyst to join a leading Financial Services firm on a day-rate contract basis, working outside IR35. As an XVA Analyst, you will be responsible for working with IT, Risk, and Quants/Analysts to define technical requirements across data mapping, indices analysis, historical Vols, correlations, pricing grids, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain XVA best practices across the financial services industry, including underlying calculations, technology infrastructure, in-scope business functions, and margin attribution practices.
  • Design and implement automated tasks for trading desks, eliminating manual processes and improving efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT, Risk, and Quants/Analysts to define technical requirements and ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide expert advice on XVA-related matters, including data analysis, modeling, and risk management.
Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of XVA best practices and underlying calculations.
  • Strong technical skills, including Python scripting, SQL, and data analysis.
  • Experience in automating tasks for trading desks and eliminating manual processes.
  • Quant experience beneficial.
