About the Role

The School is seeking an experienced SEND Coordinator to join their team. As a SENDCo, you will play a critical role in influencing teaching and learning to ensure every student with additional needs can achieve and be successful.

The school has a strong track record of successful outcomes for students, with 35 students on roll with EHCPs and 15% of students on the SEN register. You will be responsible for leading the Learning Development team and working closely with teachers to provide support and resources for students with special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will have high expectations of every student, be enthusiastic, flexible, and have a desire to see SEND continue to flourish. You will be a valued member of the school community and will have the opportunity to work with a large, collaborative team of cluster schools.

They have a strong commitment to academic excellence and provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. The school has recently achieved their best ever GCSE outcomes, with 56% of students achieving grade 5+ in English and Maths and a P8 score of +0.6.
