Cobalt Recruitment has partnered with a market-leading planning consultancy to help grow their team across Berkshire/Oxfordshire. This consultancy has multiple offices nationally and maintains a close-knit feel across their Planning team, delivering excellent results for public and private sector clients.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Town Planner to join our partner consultancy's team. The ideal candidate will be a chartered Town Planner with at least four years of industry experience, ideally in consultancy, client-side, or local authorities. Strong commercial understanding across the wider sector, including planning, is essential. Excellent communication skills, good technical abilities, and writing skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage planning applications through the development process.
- Write representations to Local Plans and manage strategic land promotions through the development process.
- Meet clients and liaise with key stakeholders.
- Appraise potential sites for clients and do pre-application meetings and work.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in planning policy.
- Do business development at the more senior level, and mentor junior team members.

What We Offer:
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including a flexible working approach and excellent career advancement opportunities.
